Inaugural address by President John F. Kennedy

President John F. Kennedy is the 35th president of the United States. His speech was short with 1364 words but was considered the best presidential inaugural speech in American history. In the speech, he depicts a utopia world "where the strong are just, and the weak secure, and the peace preserved". He wants an equal right for everyone to have freedom, to have basic need and peace. He also mentioned about the unity of everyone in all over the world. He wants the happiness to reach out to the poor in other nations, "to assist free men and free governments in casting off the chains of poverty". In order to make this utopia world, we need everyone to contribute in. And this is a very famous quote from his speech:" and so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".
